THE ARTISTS

TupiliLea E Arellano is a 68 year old Two Spirit Elder, medicine person, musician, spoken word artist, writer, painter, lover, dancer, and truth teller living in Oakland, CA. Creativity has kept them alive.

Rosco Kickingstone is a trans, TwoSpirit, musician, artist, and herbal medicine maker, of Indigenous (Yaqui, Apache, Isleta Pueblo) Mexican-American descent. With lyrics like lightning and melodies woven with intricacy, he hopes this musical journey will spark flames in the hearts and minds of all who convene. This is our time. Let’s make it worth it. Rebirth it!

Lazarus Letcher is a Ph.D. student in American Studies and teachesPeace Studies. In addition to being a solo artist Laz is the and for the queer indie-folk band Eileen & the In-Betweens. Their work centers Black and Indigenous solidarities/liberation, transgender folklore, and sobriety. They live on unceded Tiwa Pueblo land in Albuquerque, New Mexico with their pup Mahler and a legion of plants.

StormMiguel Florez is a Xicanx trans filmmaker, musician, and producer who has been queering art for over 30 years. He is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and has lived in the SF Bay Area for almost half his life. He is excited to come out of his musical performance hiatus for A House Concert on April 4th.
