Fresh Meat Productions proudly presents a full evening of Artistic Director Sean Dorsey’s groundbreaking choreography. BalletTanz recently named Dorsey one of the international dance scene’s most promising choreographers.
The Outsider Chronicles is an intimate dance theater journey into the world of the gender outsider. Playful, evocative and deeply moving, The Outsider Chronicles fuses dance, theater, storytelling and original scores to dive into aspects of coming out and living as transgender … foiled first love, lovers’ spats, coming out (or not) to family, road trips, homophobic violence and learning what “til death do us part” really means, and the joys of therapy. Performed by Sean Dorsey and Mair Culbreth. Live music performed by Margaret Hitchcock, Nejla Baguio and Shawna Virago.
