SEAN DORSEY DANCE featured at TRANSLATIONS: SEATTLE TRANS FILM FESTIVAL

We’re thrilled to announce that Sean Dorsey Dance has been invited to share a short program of 4 of our dance films at Seattle’s acclaimed TRANSLations: Seattle Trans Film Festival! Sean Dorsey Dance’s films PLACE/PORTALAT WATER’S EDGESEEK/AFTER AND TOWARD will be screened in this online/virtual program – available May 5-8.

Choreographed, directed and edited by trans choreographer Sean Dorsey, these 4 dance films by are set in gorgeous outdoor locations across the Bay Area – inviting us all to imagine and create expansive Futures.

Part of Sean Dorsey Dance’s multi-year project The Lost Art Of Dreaming, these films feature: movement created and performed by Sean Dorsey, Nol Simonse, Raul Torres-Bonilla and Will Woodward; filmed by Annalise Ophelian; music by Anomie Belle, Ben Kessler and Frida Ibarra; costumes by Tiffany Amundson; choreographed, directed and edited by Sean Dorsey.

These screenings will also be the world film festival premiere of PLACE/PORTAL and TOWARD!
