Sean Dorsey is thrilled to be part of an ARTIST PANEL featuring Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing dance artists who are performing at the 10th Annual Bay Area International Deaf Dance Festival! Sean Dorsey Dance also performs Friday August 12 and Saturday August 13 as part of the Festival at Dance Mission Theater.
Presented by Antoine Hunter’s Urban Jazz Dance Company, The Bay Area International Deaf Dance Festival (BAIDDF) is an annual event produced by Urban Jazz Dance Company that consists of performances and workshops that highlight the important contributions that Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HoH) artists make to our community.
BAIDDF shares: “Come meet our Deaf and Hard of Hearing performers! Don’t miss this opportunity to see their stories, learn about their culture, victories and struggles, what their identities are, there will be a few interview question and answer with these amazing Def and Heard of Hearing artists.”
Artistic Director Sean Dorsey shares, “As a Hard-of-hearing dance artist, it’s so powerful for me to get to be part of BAIDDF as a panelist and a choreographer/performer! And it’s a truly special honor being part of BAIDDF’s 10th Anniversary Festival.”
