Announcing 2025 TRANSfutures Commissions!

Fresh Meat Productions is thrilled to announce our 2025 TRANSfutures Commissions!

TRANSfutures Commissions are annual, community-nominated grants awarded to performing artists across the US, with a focus on Bay Area artists, and a focus on BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) trans, transgender, gender-nonconforming, Indigenous Two-Spirit, non-binary, gender-expansive and genderqueer artists.

These are unrestricted grants, intended to be an investment in the ongoing artistic, creative and community practices of these brilliant artists.

TRANSfutures artists are nominated and selected by a national cohort of Nominators.

TRANSfutures Commissions, like all of Fresh Meat Productions’ programs and activities, does not discriminate based on race, gender or disability.
