TRANSfutures Commissions are annual, community-nominated grants awarded to performing artists across the US, with a focus on Bay Area artists, and a focus on BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) trans, transgender, gender-nonconforming, Indigenous Two-Spirit, non-binary, gender-expansive and genderqueer artists.

Queer Pop! Jazz Funk: Fresh Meat Festival 2025 Community Class
During this jazz funk class, the focus is on feeling your f***ing fantasy, baby! Jazz Funk is an industry-style dance form that pulls from all styles—some include, but are not limited to, hip-hop, jazz, and heels. This class is all about feeling hot hot hot in your body—whether that’s soft, sharp, sultry, silly, or all of the above.
Body & Breath: Open-level Singing: Fresh Meat Festival 2025 Community Class
This open-level singing workshop focuses on connecting to your voice through your body. We’ll explore breath, posture, and support—laying the groundwork for vocal ease, strength, and confidence.
