Join folklorist/author Kay Turner for a free discussion about the significance of the ongoing Queer community traditions that developed in San Francisco after the closet collapsed: the Imperial Court System, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Barbary Coast Cloggers and others. A National Queer Arts Festival event, sponsored by the Queer Cultural Center, Fresh Meat Productions and the Alliance of California Traditional Artists.
