Sean Dorsey Dance is thrilled to be a featured part of the 4th Annual Accessible Virtual Pride!
Accessible Virtual Pride is a free, fully online, two-day Pride celebration centering disabled queer and trans people, accomplices, and access-minded community members. The program brings together interactive workshops, children’s programming, art-making, poetry, movement, games, practical skill sharing, a livestream variety show, drag, dance, music, advocacy, virtual art and vendor spaces, and a digital dance party—all designed so people can participate from home and across distance.
Sean Dorsey Dance’s dance film “At Water’s Edge” will be featured. “At Water’s Edge” has screened at festivals around the world and features Sean Dorsey and Nol Simonse, with original music composed by Anomie Belle, cinematography by Annalise Ophelian, costume design by Tiffany Amundson, and editing by Sean Dorsey.
Accessible Virtual Pride is produced by Calling Up Justice and One Free Community, and each year we invite a new producing partner into the collaboration, growing the skills, relationships, and shared ownership of the event. Join us in 2027 as an artist, workshop facilitator, performer, volunteer, access worker, partner, or audience member. Bring your art, access needs, politics, joy, and weird ideas, and help us continue building a disability-led queer Pride celebration across space and time.
The program will celebrate disability-led and queer cultural organizations while featuring work from Sean Dorsey Dance, Drag Artists Taipei, Starrla Wheelz, Em Eilo, Gesy Duran, Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, J Mase III, and many more.
